    Really like this gentle toner. Feel like it’s the perfect amount of exfoliation without showing your skin is being exfoliated. Doesn’t feel harsh where it will mess up my skin barrier. Great ingredients.

    Finally something reliable for my sensitive/reactive skin

    Several years ago I developed type 2 rosacea and along with the all the grief that comes with having a chronic skin condition, one thing that's particularly frustrating is no longer being able to use the typical exfoliants on the market without triggering skin flares. While my rosacea is mostly in remission now and I've found moisturizer and sunscreen that work for me, I've still been missing a chemical exfoliant. Until now!!

    I've tried two others exfoliants meant for sensitive skin and they were fine, but I didn't enjoy using them. I don't like a product that's too watery and drips all over my hands (or gets completely soaked up by cotton). And both exfoliants I tried contained mandelic acid, which is a great ingredient I want to love, but always smells like a funeral home to me.

    Enter Cashmere Peel. It ticks all my boxes:

    - Gentle while still being noticeably effective: I gauge this by how my smooth my nose feels without having to physically exfoliate it.

    - No salicylic or glycolic acid (I miss these but I just can't use them anymore and am so grateful for alternatives)

    - No essential oils

    - NO niacinamide!! Do you know how hard it is to find products without this ingredient?? I'm glad it works for so many but my skin aggressively revolts against it no matter the %.

    - The texture is like a thick milk serum: hydrating but lightweight, and doesn't get everywhere (I apply with my hands to save product)

    - No discernible smell

    - A good amount of product for the price!
