What does it mean for your products to be designed for skin of color?
Our formulation philosophy is built around Smart Melanin Beauty which means that we only use high-performance, melanin-compatible ingredients with proven efficacy on skin of color. This also means our products are also custom formulated and not “white label” from a manufacturer. It’s important to us that our product formulas are custom and specifically made for our needs and skin with melanin. Our active ingredients are chosen and used at its most efficient dosage to be gentle on skin, and our ingredients adhere to US, European Union and Canada regulations to make sure our formulas are kind to the skin. Are your products “clean” and/or do your products contain any parabens, sulfates, or other harmful ingredients?
No. At EADEM we believe that health is beauty. It’s an ugly truth that women of color spend more on beauty and are exposed to more chemically harmful products. We call this the beauty burden, and we’re out to correct it. This means our products adhere to US, European Union and Canada regulations to make sure our formulas are kind to the skin. What skin types are EADEM products suitable for?
Our products are appropriate for all skin types: they’re dermatologist tested and formulated for all skin types. Our products are formulated to ensure efficacy, safety, and stability. This includes testing for potential irritation, sensitization, and allergic contact.
Are your products safe to use when pregnant or nursing?
Yes we formulate our products with mother and baby in mind. Fun fact, both our founders were pregnant and/or nursing while Milk Marvel: Dark Spot Serum was being developed. There are no harsh or potentially dangerous chemicals, making them safe to use during pregnancy and/or breastfeeding. If you have any specific concerns please consult with your doctor.
Are your products vegan and cruelty free?
Yes! We’re committed to being vegan and cruelty free: this means we do not test on animals at any stage of product development, and we will only work with vendors who uphold the same standards.
Are your products non-comedogenic?
Yes! Our products are non-comedogenic (aka doesn’t clog your pores).
Where are your products made
Our products are made in an FDA-approved facility in the USA.
How should I store my products?
Our products are tested to ensure safety and stability for up to two years unopened or 12 months after opening. It would be best to make sure to store your product in a cool, dry place.

Where do you ship?
At this time, we only ship within the United States, including Hawaii and Alaska, as well as APO/FPO address. We are working on bringing our products to additional countries, tag us @eadem.co to help us prioritize!
When will my order ship?
Please allow us about 2 to 4 business days to process an order (oftentimes faster). Once your package ships you’ll get a shipment notification email with a tracking number as well as other delivery updates. Please make sure to check your spam folders for any emails from @eadem.co.
What’s your return policy?
We want you to love your products! If you are not satisfied with your product, please email us within 30 days of purchase at email@example.com. Please note that as a small business, we ask that the full-sized product be at least half full and shipping fees are non-refundable. Once a return is received and processed it can take 3-5 business days for your bank to fully refund you.
Once I place my order, can I change the delivery address?
If you have made an error entering your shipping address or need to make a change, please contact us as soon as possible at firstname.lastname@example.org with your order number and the correct address. If your order has already shipped please contact your shipping carrier first to change the address.
Where's my package?
Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with tracking information in order to easily track your package. If you have not received a shipping confirmation email within a few days of placing your order, please check your “spam” folder. Please make sure to check your spam folders for any emails from email@example.com.
What if my package arrives damaged?
If your package was damaged during transit, please take a photo and save the damaged box/product and notify us immediately at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will arrange for the pick up of the damaged items to inspect the damaged package and the damaged items will be replaced.
Can I cancel my order?
If you’d like to cancel your order, please send us an email at email@example.com and we’ll do our best to either cancel the order or, if it’s too late to cancel, help you get a refund on any product you don’t want to keep.
