I grew up in Paris and remember being so excited about a new foundation featuring a well-known Black actress, but I was quickly turned away at the counter because my shade “wasn’t carried in the store.” Clearly I was an afterthought, and it's our mission to change the industry for women like us.

As a second generation Taiwanese American with admittedly "bad skin," I’ve always straddled my family’s and America's definitions of beauty. Only there is no one "right" type of beauty! We're setting a new standard that’s more inclusive and specifically designed for our melanin.
